The tree protects those who protect it. Plant today, and it shades you tomorrow.

Those who protect what is right are protected by it. Helping others strengthens the whole community.
🩸One donation can help up to three people
Donated blood is separated into red cells, platelets and plasma.
🔁Blood can’t be made in a lab
Every unit comes from a donor, so every request matters.
⏱️Wait between donations
CIVI sends a reminder after 90 days. Women are often advised to wait about 4 months, so follow your blood centre’s guidance.
🌳Trees give back for years
Shade, cleaner air and a cooler neighbourhood.
Always follow your blood centre’s eligibility guidance before donating.

Others see only your blood group, approximate distance and availability, never your exact address.

Alerts are matched by blood group compatibility and your chosen radius.

A reminder after 90 days, Verified Hero after one donation, Trusted Hero after five.

One tap flags the request as urgent and widens the notification radius to 20 km.

🩸How do I post a blood request?
Open the Hero tab, tap Need Blood, fill in the patient and hospital details and submit. Matching donors nearby are notified automatically.
🚨What is Emergency Mode?
A one-tap option that widens your notification radius and flags the request as urgent. Please use it only for genuinely urgent cases.
📎Can I attach a prescription photo?
Yes. One supporting photo, such as a prescription or blood slip, helps verify the request.

🤝How do I become a donor?
Go to Settings, then Donor Mode, turn it on, add your blood group and location and set your availability.
👁️Who can see that I’m available?
Only your blood group, approximate distance and availability status. Never your exact address.
🔔Why am I not getting notifications?
Check that notifications are enabled for CIVI in your device settings, and that Blood Request Notifications are on in Donor Mode.
🌱What do Trees and Donated on my profile mean?
Trees grows with your Plant posts and Donated with your Hero donations. Your blood group sits beside them.
🔒How do I make my account private?
Settings, then Privacy, then Private Account. New followers then need your approval, and only approved followers see your posts.
🗑️How do I delete my account?
Follow the steps on the Account Deletion page, linked in the footer.
